About: A non-native biennial, Teasel flowers range from white to lavender in color. Considered an invasive species, Teasel can be seen growing in large swaths along highways and country roads. It is the fresh root that is used to prepare the extract, which we source from devoted responsible herbalists who gather in clean areas in the proper season. Used in traditional Chinese medicine in supporting the musculo-skeletal system and strengthening Kidney yang, Teasel root has been known as an herb that mends and restores.

Recommended Dosage: 1-3 drops, 1-3 times per day in juice or water. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources & note our suggested low dose when using Teasel root. (1-3 drops  1-3 times per day). Some people who have been diagnosed with Lyme borrelia may experience a heightened reaction if taking too high a dose. This may be a Herxheimer reaction. We recommend beginning with 1 drop 1-3 times per day and slowly increasing the dose over 10 days until reaching the maximum dose of 1-3 drops, 1-3 times per day. If you experience a reaction, please immediately consult your health practitioner for advice on how to proceed.
