About: Beautiful, violet- lipped flowers rise like dancing dolphins in the late summer garden, while the brilliant golden roots of Baikal lengthen underground. It is the 3-4 year old roots we use for the extract- bitter, drying and cooling. Some plants are grown in our gardens; others are sourced from China’s northern mountain regions. Organic whenever possible. Baikal skullcap root is bitter, astringent, cold and dry. It is considered a broad-spectrum anti-infective, relaxant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective and relaxant, useful in a number of conditions.
Recommended Dosage: 30-50 drops OR 1/4-1/2 tsp 4 times per day in juice or water. Children: under 12 take half the adult dosage. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.
